Semester at Sea’s Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Semester at Sea is committed to creating a voyage community as richly diverse as the global community in which it engages. We strive to build voyage communities in which all voices are welcomed, challenged, and treasured, no matter their background, nationality, race, ability or identity. We will continue to enhance our partnerships with HBCUs, HSIs, and MSIs. We will continue to seek philanthropic support so that any qualified student, regardless of financial means can sail. It is through these concerted efforts that we will fulfill our mission: to create journeys of discovery that spark bold solutions to global challenges.

ISE distributed the following statement to staff on July 5 in response to last week’s Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action.
